Create a show
Every show setting explained — title, slug, description, and feed URL.

A show is the container for your episodes, your public page, and your RSS feed. Most people only ever need one.
Settings
Title
Exactly what listeners see in their podcast app. Directories index it, so make it searchable rather than clever.
Slug
Your show’s URL segment. It determines both:
Public page: https://podpromo.ai/your-slug
RSS feed: https://podpromo.ai/your-slug/feed.xml Slugs are lowercase, hyphenated, URL-safe, and globally unique on a first-come, first-served basis.
Changing your slug after submitting to directories breaks your feed URL. Apple Podcasts and Spotify treat the new URL as a different show, and your existing subscribers stay on the dead one. Choose carefully up front.
Description
One to three sentences naming the audience and the payoff. This appears on your public page, in your feed, and in directory listings.
Cover art
See cover art requirements for the full spec. In short: square, JPG or PNG, at least 1400×1400px.
Your public page
Every show gets a public page at podpromo.ai/your-slug with an episode list and a built-in player. Listeners never need an account to listen.
Your RSS feed
The feed is valid RSS 2.0 with the iTunes and podcast-namespace extensions. It is generated from your show and episode data, so there is nothing to configure — it updates the instant an episode publishes.
You can open your feed URL in a browser at any time to see exactly what directories see.
