Episodes belong to a show, so create a show first if you have not already.

The maximum file size is 2 GB. Audio is stored and served exactly as uploaded — there is no transcoding step, so your bitrate and loudness are preserved.
Aim for 96–128 kbps mono for talk shows. It is indistinguishable from higher bitrates for spoken word and downloads noticeably faster on a phone.
Episode fields
- Title — shown in podcast apps and on the episode page
- Description — supports basic formatting; this becomes the show notes
- Audio file — the upload itself
- Publish timing — now, or a specific future date and time
Episode statuses
Every episode is in exactly one of three states:

scheduled | Will publish automatically at the set time |
published | Live in your feed and on your public page |
What happens on publish
- The episode appears on your public show page
- It is added to your RSS feed
- Podcast apps pick it up on their next poll — usually within an hour
Deleting episodes
Episodes are never hard-deleted. Deleting removes an episode from your feed and public pages while preserving the record, so links that already exist in the world do not turn into broken URLs.
Removing a published episode from your feed does not remove it from listeners’ devices. Anyone who already downloaded it keeps their copy.
