Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions we get most often.

Last updated

Is there a free tier?

No. Pod Promo is subscription-only from day one — no free plan and no trial. In exchange, there are no ads in your feed and no upsells in your dashboard.

Can I bring an existing show over?

Yes. Import your existing feed, then set up a redirect at your old host so subscribers follow automatically. Your listener count is preserved.

Do you re-encode my audio?

No. Your file is stored and served exactly as uploaded. What you export is what listeners hear.

What file size can I upload?

Up to 2 GB per episode, in MP3 or M4A/AAC.

Can I have more than one show?

Yes. One account can hold as many shows as you like, each with its own slug, page, and feed.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. Shows live at podpromo.ai/your-slug today.

How do I get my show on Apple Podcasts and Spotify?

Copy your RSS feed URL from your show’s RSS & distribution page and submit it to each directory once. New episodes then appear automatically. The distribution guide has step-by-step instructions for every major directory.

Do listeners need an account?

No. Public show and episode pages are open to anyone, and the feed works in every podcast app.

What happens if I cancel?

Your feed and pages stay up through the end of the paid period. After that, they stop being served — so export anything you need before cancelling.

Cancelling stops your RSS feed from being served. Podcast directories will eventually drop a show whose feed stops responding, so plan the move before you cancel rather than after.

How do I get support?

Email us. A human replies — usually the same day.
